No More Plastic #3R

#3R

RETHINK - DON’T REUSE. EMBRACE ALTERNATIVES. WE LIVE IN AN AGE WHERE WE TOUCH MORE PLASTIC THAN PEOPLE WE LOVE. PLASTIC CREATES MICROPLASTICS THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE. DURING ALL ITS FORM OF USE, PLASTIC IS KILLING US SOFTLY, SLOWY, CERTAINLY.

REMOVE - ELIMINATE ALL EXISTING PLASTIC WASTES AND TURN OFF THE TAP WILL REDUCE PLASTIC POLLUTION. IF WE WANT TO TACKLE THE PLASTIC POLLUTION, WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM AT THE SOURCE.

RELEARN - BAN RECYCLE FOR PLASTIC. RECYCLED PLASTIC IS JUST « RECYCLED » POISON FOR OUR HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT. PERIOD. LIVE, THINK AND ACT AS AN ECO-CONSCIOUS HUMAN TO CONCRETELY CHANGE THE WORLD FOR BETTER.

We are the only solution for the planet.

There is only one ocean that covers this planet.

Every other breath you take is oxygen produced in the ocean. It regulates our weather and forms the clouds that bring us fresh water to drink. It gives us food to eat, new medicines, jobs, energy, recreation and a climate we can thrive in. No matter where we live in the world, our future depends on a healthy ocean.

Our ocean is in danger from many threats but there is one that we the people are uniquely suited to address: plastic pollution.

Every year, the amount of plastic produced around the world is roughly the same as the entire weight of humanity. 91% of this plastic is not recycled.

An estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic ends up in the ocean each year.

Plastic pollution is flowing from our homes and communities into rivers, onto beaches and down to the very depths of the ocean. Once in the ocean, this plastic breaks into smaller pieces that litter the sea floor, endanger marine life and contribute to health problems for us.

If nothing changes, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050.

We want our ocean to be abundant with LIFE, not with the plastic pollution that is choking wildlife and the natural environment while poisoning us in the process.

In response, we call for a BAN ON SINGLE USE PLASTIC, which comprises 50% of plastic pollution.

We call on our favorite brands to find innovative alternatives to single use plastic products and packaging.

We call on their capacity for creativity, invention and innovation to develop a solution good for us and for our planet.

We pledge to embrace those alternatives.

We are the solution.

NO MORE PLASTIC ACTIONS

RETHINK THE FUTURE OF CONSUMPTION

Rethink the future of consumption by offering consumers access to environmentally desirable products and services.

ADVOCATE TO REDUCE PLASTIC POLLUTION

Advocate to inspire people to reduce their plastic consumption and raise awareness about the impact of plastic and microplastic pollution on our future, our health and our planet.

EDUCATE NEXT GENERATION TO ACTION

It is important for us to educate the new generation because they are the citizens, entrepreneurs, leaders, and inventors of tomorrow, and then they will have to decide to make choices to continue to challenge humanity while protecting, even more than we have done, the natural resources of this world that keeps us alive.

REMOVE PLASTIC WASTE

Together, let's find global solutions for a global threat of plastic waste accumulation.

BE AWARE OF MICROPLASTICS

Scientists have been concerned about possible harm from microplastics for many years.

Microplastics have been found in human blood. We eat, drink, and breathe plastic. But how we can reduce our consumption of plastic? We will need more research and information

to reduce our exposure to microplastics.

SAVE THE OCEAN WITH THE RIGHT

The safeguarding of the ocean by inciting changes in our society, with the right, and the means of law. Protect ocean as it protects us to save life on earth.

RESCUE CHILDREN "Waste Pickers"

Lets help children "waste pickers" to get out of the landfills, where our wastes are sent, to go back in school in order to offer them prospects for the future through education. Thousands of young children are used in informal recycling plastic waste and are exploited as cheap labour. This is the real face of the plastic recycling industry around the world. These children are mostly trained by "master" burners, older boys or young adults, many of whom cannot read or write. It's time to write together a new story for them.
